Requirements

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
  • PTCB National Certification (Preferred; five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience)
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging
  • Receiving product deliveries, pulling and staging product for distribution, rotating stock, and coordinating activities with drivers
  • Performing physical inventories of medication
  • Ensuring all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients
  • Coordinating stock rotations and deliveries for accuracy and timeliness
