Requirements

Lead and develop a pharmacy team providing exceptional patient care
Promote best practices and lead through change
Identify and address performance opportunities
Support novel program awareness and onboard new hires
Recognize colleagues for success
Exhibit best practices when working the bench (e.g., quarterbacking the team, patient counseling, legal/regulatory compliance)
Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts with coaching and follow-up
Follow and direct adherence to pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and collaborate with healthcare teams; coach team to do the same
Proactively offer and deliver immunizations; support technicians in learning to immunize
Manage pharmacy inventory, focusing on best practices and cold chain protection
Conduct onboarding and training for new technicians and pharmacists
Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Partner with Store Manager for talent pipeline and cross-training
Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), manage performance, deliver reviews

Responsibilities

Manage and improve patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizing
Strengthen pharmacy performance measures through coaching and follow-up
Ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences by resolving issues proactively
Support effective pharmacy inventory management
Train on CVS workflow and ensure timely completion of training/licensure
Escalate compliance issues to Rx DL as needed
Maintain cross-trained colleague pipeline
Manage performance via observation, feedback, validation, and annual reviews
