Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with prior management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices is required, as is the ability to interpret and apply them effectively. Experience with inventory management, staff training, and performance management is also necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will lead and develop a pharmacy team, providing exceptional patient care and promoting best practices. You will oversee pharmacy operations during bench shifts, including dispensing, counseling, and immunizing, while ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and all legal guidelines. Additionally, you will support novel program awareness, onboard new team members, recognize colleagues’ successes, manage pharmacy inventory, and partner with the Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline.
