- Compliance with state regulations (e.g., for taking telephonic prescriptions or clarifying with prescribers)

Responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to deepen knowledge of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and caring service exceeding patient expectations
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations (e.g., production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off)
- Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and compassionate service in all customer and colleague interactions to create positive patient experiences and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture
- Offer counseling, field medical questions, solicit patient medical history, provide immunizations and other services, solve or escalate patient problems (under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist)
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers, call prescribers to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes (where allowed by state regulation)
- Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to pharmacy team members, share best practices, and maintain high self-awareness
- Perform basic inventory activities (as permitted by law and directed by leadership), such as putting away medication deliveries, completing cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, waiting bin inventories
- Take on increasing accountability for pharmacy management, oversight, and operations as tenure and readiness increase
- Contribute to a high-performing team by living the company's purpose and helping Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health
