Responsibilities

  • Provide warmth, friendliness, and confidence when discussing personal health issues with customers

  • Drive awareness of extra pharmacy services (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews)
  • Support the Pharmacist with delivery and effective record keeping of patient services (e.g., blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes)
  • Develop and adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures
  • Collect customer prescriptions from doctor's surgeries on their behalf
  • Complete accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then train as a Dispensing Assistant
