An experienced, registered Pharmacist is preferred, or an experienced Science Graduate
Minimum 12 months experience in a Pharmacy Technician role will be highly regarded
Enjoy routine work with high attention to detail
Have a strong team work focus
Meeting business expectations regarding productivity and output
Communicate effectively, both written and verbally
Displays drive and a sense of urgency to achieving deadlines
Flexibility to perform overtime as required, including during 3-5 months of training/orientation (shift times 7:00 am to 6:00 pm)

Responsibilities

Reconciliation of orders
Advising and directing technicians on the preparation, workflow and compounding requirements for orders
Product release or maintenance of parenteral nutrition formulations (additional responsibilities may include)
Receipt, scheduling, prioritising, entering and checking orders, as required
Aseptic compounding of orders, as required
Supervising and assisting technicians in their daily activities
Releasing products to ensure quality manufacture
Meeting the needs of both internal and external customers
Perform overtime as and when required
