Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Social

Position Overview

Eventbrite is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Social to join our in-house Growth Marketing team. This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for owning and executing paid social strategy across key platforms like Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Reddit. You will drive full-funnel performance marketing campaigns, from strategic planning and audience segmentation to creative testing, optimization, and performance analysis. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Demand Gen, Brand, Creative, Analytics, and Paid Search, to create integrated and scalable marketing experiences. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about paid social, skilled in optimizing at scale, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, balancing creative experimentation with analytical rigor.

The Team

You will be part of our centralized Growth Marketing team, a multi-disciplinary group focused on customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle growth. We are strategic thinkers, builders, and performance drivers who collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data science teams. Our team values autonomy, innovation, and collaboration, aiming to build a best-in-class engine to support both event creators and attendees globally.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimize high-performing Paid Social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management, including strategy development, forecasting, execution, reporting, and iteration.
  • Develop and implement advanced audience strategies, including custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting, and lifecycle win-back campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Organic Social and Integrated Marketing teams to amplify strategic content and ensure channel alignment.
  • Partner with Brand and Creative teams to test and iterate on various creative formats (video, carousel, stories, reels) and messaging.
  • Analyze campaign performance to derive actionable insights and continuously improve ROI and growth.
  • Manage and pace budgets effectively to meet growth targets while maintaining efficiency.
  • Work closely with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to enhance targeting, measurement, and automation capabilities.
  • Deploy A/B testing and CRO strategies to maximize performance across social media platforms.
  • Stay current with platform trends and Paid Social innovations to maintain a leading edge.
  • Present performance insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the broader team by leading by example and celebrating collective achievements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Paid Social campaigns at scale.
  • Expertise across multiple platforms: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn.
  • Proven track record of delivering results through data-driven decision-making and creative testing.
  • Deep understanding of platform nuances, bidding strategies, attribution models, and audience targeting.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Heap, or equivalent.
  • Experience with media planning, forecasting, budget management, and pacing.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and creative teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives.
  • Experience with Smartly.io is a strong plus.
  • Bonus points for experience implementing automation or AI-powered campaign tools.
