Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of experience in an HR Manager role, preferably within a multinational company

Responsibilities

Own and continuously improve the new hire onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration into the company
Partner with the talent development team to provide engaging experience during the first several months to help new hires learn eBay’s business and culture
Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS system (Workday)
Administer local leave and benefits programs, including health insurance, provident fund (PF), and other statutory benefits, and act as a liaison with the benefits team
Handle all HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, confirmation letters, experience letters, and policy acknowledgments
Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and line managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related queries, policies, and procedures
Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Deliver employee relations training to leaders
Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and regulations (e.g., Shops and Establishment Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, POSH)
Assist in adapting and implementing global HR policies to the local context, ensuring they are well-understood and consistently applied
Maintain statutory records and support internal and external audits
Champion eBay’s culture and values within the GCC
Drive and support local employee engagement initiatives, events, and wellness programs
Support the annual performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and year-end reviews, as needed, and in partnership with the site People Business Partner
Partner with managers to identify training needs and coordinate with the Learning & Development team to facilitate local training sessions, as needed
Establish and develop the on-site People Operations team
