Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess 10+ years of UK and international payroll experience, preferably within the financial services industry, along with a Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field. They should have experience with in-house payrolls and a technical understanding of in-house payroll configurations, as well as experience with external vendor management.

Responsibilities

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the timely review and accurate processing of payrolls for the UK and the Netherlands, preparation of compliance-related items, coordination with vendors, and providing friendly customer service to colleagues. You will also review and support monthly and off-cycle payrolls, prepare deliverables for month-end and quarterly reporting, deliver excellent customer service aligned with SLAs, contribute to process enhancements, support the administration of the company pension plan, maintain payroll procedures, provide support during audits, oversee internal communications, keep up to date with payroll legislation, and participate in UAT and regression testing.
