Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 4 years of payroll and HR experience in the Czech Republic is required, along with a strong working knowledge of local payroll and HR regulations and policies. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines accurately, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are also needed to explain complex issues clearly.
The Payroll Expert will serve as a regional subject matter expert, responsible for the end-to-end payroll execution in the Czech Republic. This includes evaluating and selecting software, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, and preparing internal payroll reports in compliance with local tax authorities. The role involves owning critical local payroll and HR processes, managing involuntary deductions, supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, and reconciling payroll expenses. Additionally, the Payroll Expert will assess and improve rapid growth processes, stay updated on regulatory changes, and communicate these changes across teams. They will also collaborate cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters and answer complex payroll and HR-related questions from employees and clients.
