Responsibilities

The Payroll Analyst I will oversee monthly payroll processing for 400+ employees in India, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations, and working closely with the payroll manager to reconcile and audit payroll. They will also be responsible for understanding proper taxation of employer-paid benefits, processing pay slips and tax forms, staying up-to-date on legal and regulatory changes, resolving employee queries, supporting payroll reports, coordinating with HR and finance teams, assisting with year-end processing, documenting payroll procedures, and providing backup support to other team members. Additionally, the role involves assisting with special projects and performing other duties as required.
