Requirements

Candidates must have advanced customer service or scheduling/coordination experience, with prior experience in ABA therapy or a healthcare-related environment being preferred. Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, quick decision-making abilities, and resilience when handling difficult situations are also required. Basic computer literacy including MS Office and Outlook is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Patient Services Coordinator will coordinate the placement of BCBAs with patients, managing both new cases and replacements. They will serve as the main point of contact for staff and families, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns. This role involves de-escalating and resolving complaints from families or staff with tact and judgment, and motivating parties to follow through on plans even when resistance is present. The coordinator will utilize client systems for scheduling, documenting actions, and maintaining accurate records, while also maintaining ongoing communication with management regarding case status and escalations.
