Ability to assist in the delivery of efficient and comprehensive tele-optometry exams utilizing state-of-the-art optical and telemedicine equipment

Ability to understand and access production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Adherence to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and club standards (e.g., stocking, planograms, signage, cleanliness)

Responsibilities

Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, supporting club policies, procedures, and compliance
Provide support to members in making eyeglass adjustments and repairs
Enthusiastically greet patients inside BJ’s Optical and identify patient vision needs through open-ended questions
Promote eye exam availability to BJ’s members and their families
Foster strong partnerships with optical team members and optometrists
Assist in scheduling eye exam appointments and entering patient information
Deliver service excellence, resolve and de-escalate member concerns
Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team
Work as a team to achieve goals, maintain GOLD club standards, and deliver grand opening look daily
Act with the member in mind, escalate concerns as appropriate, and innovate/adapt quickly
