Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance at a SaaS B2B tech company, with 1+ year at an early stage (Series A-D) SaaS B2B tech startup, or small team within a larger company
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and large, complex, bespoke deals
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and business models, including ARR, discounting, and renewal management
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with sales and legal processes tied to data protection, security SLAs, and procurement compliance
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for account executives to expedite deal processes, reducing sales cycle time and improving deal efficiency
  • Support the Sales teams on the full deal lifecycle for new sales, renewals, and upsells, ensuring that deals are structured for success and compliance
  • Support the Sales teams on complex or non-standard deals, offering guidance on contract terms, pricing models, and negotiation tactics
  • Review and validate contracts, order forms, and quotes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on pricing, discounting, term structuring, and commercial approvals for key customers with the strategy team
  • Develop and manage the deal approval process, ensuring timely review by relevant stakeholders
  • Implement a structured process for approvals, providing transparency and consistency across the organization
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, product, account management teams to assess non-standard terms, manage risks, and address customer requirements
  • Help build a scalable deal desk framework and governance model
  • Identify opportunities to improve deal desk processes, tools, and workflows to enhance deal velocity and reduce bottlenecks
  • Work on implementing automation tools or CRM optimizations to streamline the deal desk’s operations
  • Train Sales and Account Manager teams on deal processes and tools
