The Patient Care Coordinator will administratively coordinate the patient experience by scheduling appointments, managing documentation, coordinating insurance and pre-certifications, and following up on diagnostic testing. They will communicate with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary departments, handle patient billing inquiries, and initiate and track pre-authorizations. The role also involves preparing patient charts, assisting with supplemental testing, entering data into patient health databases, and providing administrative support to physicians and the practice manager.
