Candidates must possess an MD or DO with board certification in Pediatrics and Palliative Medicine. A current, unrestricted medical license and at least 5 years of clinical experience in pediatric palliative care are required, along with previous people leadership experience, preferably in a palliative care setting.
The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership and oversight for the PATH program, mentoring and supervising the pediatric palliative care team. They will develop high-impact protocols, champion quality improvement and regulatory excellence, and engage in direct clinical care as needed. The role involves shaping the strategic growth of the program, fostering partnerships with stakeholders, designing learning experiences for staff and partners, and promoting a culture of continuous growth through research and collaboration. Additionally, they will contribute to strategy, financial stewardship, and lead teams with emotional intelligence and resilience.
