Requirements

The Engineering Lead should possess a track record of shipping large, complex software projects, fluency in languages like Ruby, Python, or Typescript, experience with architectural design, and the ability to articulate the value of technical investments. They should also be comfortable operating with some technical guidance, have experience mentoring engineers, and familiarity with the front-end, including modern JavaScript libraries or frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).

Responsibilities

As the Engineering Lead, you will serve as a hands-on leader and technical expert, nurture and mentor a team of engineering talent, work with product management to develop and maintain a roadmap, drive innovation in full-stack product development, write clean and maintainable code, lead pair programming sessions, and participate in daily stands and weekly retrospectives. You will also collaborate with cross-functional team members, execute ideas from concept to production and scale, maintain high availability of products, and quickly respond to production incidents, representing the team and product line in discussions.
