Requirements

  • Strong product knowledge of Lush products and brand values (Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, Naked Packaging)
  • Ability to utilize StoreForce dashboard for analyzing sales results and providing coaching/feedback
  • Skills in cash handling, including transactions, register opening/closing, reconciling drawers, nightly deposits, and securing the store (may include bank deposits)
  • Capability to lead training sessions on sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Commitment to punctuality, attendance, and monitoring employee breaks/time
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) principles to foster open communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by coaching sales team using StoreForce dashboard, adjusting shop floor structure, owning segment results, and celebrating achievements
  • Deliver world-class customer experience by leading product demonstrations, observing consultations, collaborating with team, and exceeding sales goals
  • Build the brand by educating customers on Lush values, hosting store parties, community engagement, and traffic-driving initiatives
  • Increase product passion through constant learning and making informed recommendations
  • Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge; lead by example, assess performance, and seek feedback for self-development
  • Promote DEIB by encouraging open communication, listening to perspectives, fostering belonging, teamwork, collaboration, and recognizing contributions
  • Manage cash handling, store opening/closing, register reconciliation, deposits, and store security
  • Lead by example in attendance/punctuality, monitor employee breaks, review daily communications/task lists for team preparedness
  • Maintain clean, organized, visually appealing store through visuals and merchandising
