Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to visit customers in-person at their homes
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license with required 100/300 auto insurance
  • Dependable vehicle as daily travel is required
  • Ability to meet the requirements of a background check, motor vehicle report check and drug test
  • Excellent communication skills – both in person, via telephone and in writing
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Resourcefulness in answering questions or solving any issues for the customer
  • Consistent follow up on any open issues related to customers
  • Takes initiative and is self-driven to succeed

Responsibilities

  • Collection of monthly premiums from policyholders in one or more assigned agencies
  • Answering questions or referring customers to proper department to resolve any issues
  • Follow-up on customer inquiries or concerns to ensure completion
  • Follow up on any outstanding balances to avoid policy lapses
  • Use of technology to process premium payments
  • Administrative responsibilities in updating and maintaining customer and payment information
