Job Description: Client Support

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year Location Type: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

The Company You’ll Join

Passthrough exists to make investing in private markets as easy as Robinhood made investing in public stocks. While private equity and venture capital have been around for decades, the investment process has not kept pace with the growing volume of investors. Current processes involve lengthy, non-standardized questionnaires that often lead to errors and re-submissions. Passthrough has developed a TurboTax-style workflow that streamlines this process, ensuring investors only answer relevant questions, significantly reducing completion time (world record is 6 minutes).

In just the past 6 months, Passthrough has processed billions of dollars for thousands of investors. A key innovation is the "investor passport," capturing investor identity to allow its repurposing across future investments.

As one of the earliest employees at Passthrough, you will play a significant role in defining the company's culture and structure. We are seeking individuals who can grow with us.

Our mission is to create delighted customers and recommended investors. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding, training, and support, serving as the primary point of contact for fund managers and their limited partners.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Identify Applicable Questions: Determine which questions in legal documents apply to individuals versus entities, and understand the underlying logic.
  • Structure Data: Learn how to translate this information into Passthrough’s software.
  • Communicate Feedback: Collaborate with the team to identify software improvements and client clarifications.
  • Ensure Quality: Guarantee that the final output is consumer-grade, from logic and grammar to question ordering.

Desired Qualifications

  • Self-starter with the motivation to meet deadlines without micro-management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving work requirements.

Helpful Prior Experience:

  • Legal experience in alternative investments (venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, etc.) is a plus.
