Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Residence in the local market territory (Baltimore Metropolitan Region, 2-hour radius surrounding Baltimore)
  • Willingness to travel 95% of time in the field; 20% travel
  • Availability for core business hours 9am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday, with some weekends and evening shifts required for overnight installs

Responsibilities

  • Manage business with Jan/San and Foodservice distributors, hospitality, healthcare, restaurants, and other independent businesses
  • Develop business building ideas and sell these ideas to accounts, as well as manage their implementation
  • Market products to enable customers to meet their consumers' needs
  • Collaborate with multi-functional Customer Team (Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Information Systems) to develop new ways of doing business
  • Influence customer's marketing, finance, logistics, and other critical business decisions
  • Develop concepts for new ways of looking at events or business, gather information to explain the concept, and persuade accounts to accept recommendations for specific courses of action
  • Become knowledgeable in advertising, promotions, finance, merchandising, product knowledge, and technical support
