Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-year technical degree or better preferred (preference for fluid power programs or similar such as industrial technology, mechanical or related); OR combination of work experience, training and education
  • Fluid Power Certification preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience (preference given to experience within fluid power)
  • Previous sales experience selling mobile hydraulic service/repair preferred
  • Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment of both mobile and industrial machinery is a plus
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrated experience achieving and/or exceeding sales goals
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to make on-site customer visits in industrial settings, drive moderate to long distances, and lift items weighing as much as 50lbs
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required

Responsibilities

  • Work with manager to create a sales plan to develop new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Successfully build and maintain long-term business relationships
  • Perform full cycle prospecting activities including qualification of leads, cold calls, and sales presentations
  • Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects
  • Collaborate with customer service and technical support teams to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Utilize tools, resources, and CRM to plan and manage time and territory
  • Develop new business and manage relationships with existing customers within assigned territory (Columbus, OH and surrounding areas)
