Requirements

  • 2+ years of recent experience (within the last 5 years) directly managing BDR/SDR teams selling software to US customers
  • Proven success in building and executing targeted outbound strategies, including ABM-style motions and persona-based outreach
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business through prospecting, including coaching reps on sequencing, messaging, and multi-channel outreach
  • Hands-on selling experience as a software individual contributor, ideally with exposure to full-cycle sales motions
  • Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, who can craft compelling messaging and coach others to do the same
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Energized by a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment and able to adapt quickly
  • Passionate about creating outstanding workplace experiences and working with Enterprise customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a distributed Outbound BDR team across San Francisco, Denver, and London, serving as their front-line coach and strategic partner
  • Drive pipeline growth by guiding proactive outreach into Mid-Market and Enterprise target accounts, consistently overachieving qualified pipeline goals
  • Define and execute outbound strategy, including targeting greenfield accounts, accelerating product adoption, and supporting customers’ ability to achieve their business objectives with Envoy
  • Own visibility into pipeline performance by managing team metrics, coaching for improvement, and delivering accurate monthly forecasts
  • Stay current on Envoy’s products, market trends, and competitive landscape to ensure your team represents the company with clarity and authority
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to create a seamless, high-quality experience throughout the earliest stages of the customer journey
  • Build scalable processes and playbooks that enhance team productivity, prospecting effectiveness, and funnel quality
