5 to 8 years of experience
Skill in Order to Cash - Cash Application Processing
Good understanding of cash applications, applying unapplied cash, reconciliation of suspense account, and processing from payment receipt to finalization
Ability to accurately record and apply customer payments to correct accounts, reconcile transactions, and resolve discrepancies
Experience processing various payment types (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards)
Ability to perform analysis and solve increasingly complex problems
Availability to work in rotational shifts

Responsibilities

Receive and deposit customer payments
Apply cash remittances and credits/adjustments
Maintain bad debt reserves and allowances
Prepare Accounts Receivable reporting
Post and reconcile Accounts Receivable activity to the general ledger
Solve queries related to cash applications and coordinate with customers
Coordinate with billing and collections departments
Perform financial reporting
Conduct analysis and reconcile transactions
Interact with peers within Accenture, clients, and/or Accenture management
Work with minimal instruction on daily tasks and moderate instruction on new assignments
Make decisions impacting own work and potentially others' work
Act as an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort/team
