Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree
  • Min 3 years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record
  • High motivation, sales-driven, enthusiastic attitude, comfortable with change and growth
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, persuasive, and negotiation skills, combined with advanced presentation abilities and effective communication
  • Fluency in English
  • Used to work independently with a high level of time management skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reside within the territory (Potchefstroom, Klerksdorp and Vaal) and drive to multiple accounts

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Develop, build, and strengthen long-term relationships with clinical and economic decision makers
  • New business development through translating business strategy into specific plans for the relevant portfolio/accounts/region
  • Generate and pursue leads, assess needs and provide product and services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and services
  • Partner with Technical Consultants to promote education of the company's products and/or services
  • Inventory management in allocated accounts for specific allocated OU’s not allocated to Technical Consultant as per SOP (e.g., limited to Expired; Short dated; Non/slow-moving; Cycle Count)
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders, including SME, SAM, CAM, Pricing & Reimbursement/Market Access
  • Ensure compliance with internal training (Cornerstone), use of Customer Relations Management Tools - SFDC
  • Accurately forecasting business, owning customer relationships, understanding and targeting customer product needs, and developing and executing the sales strategy around those opportunities
