Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Technology program or equivalent
2+ years of experience as a plant operator
Experience in 24/7 plant or large-scale testing operations
Hands-on work experience
Organizational skills
Familiarity with heavy equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, overhead hoists)

Responsibilities

Assembles and installs process and auxiliary equipment into assigned facilities, utilizing heavy equipment
Commissions, operates, and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment
Prepares, reviews, and executes system and component-level commissioning, operating, and maintenance procedures. Performs acceptance testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic, I/O checks, electrical calibrations)
Supports day-to-day operations, including startup, monitoring, and shutdown processes
Performs chemistry sampling and analysis using standardized analytical instruments and procedures
Monitors equipment performance, interprets process parameters, and takes corrective action. Performs minor preventative and corrective maintenance
Performs Lockout-Tagout of equipment and adheres to hazardous operations procedures
Assists engineering staff in executing the R&D test program
Performs other duties as assigned
