Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent experience, demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend, and present information effectively, and possess basic mathematical skills for practical application. They should also be proficient in using measuring instruments and hand tools, and have the physical capability to perform tasks including frequent lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Operator I, Manufacturing will read job specifications from the Production Record to determine machine adjustments and material requirements, observe machine operation and make necessary adjustments, take samples and perform in-process testing, and perform required checks and document activities ensuring compliance with Work Instructions. They will also assist in machine setup, emptying baskets, and preparing for changeovers, notify Lead Operator of equipment or product issues, actively resolve quality-related problems, spread products as required, and assist with cleanup and other production duties.
