Responsibilities
Set goals and develop plans to meet or exceed monthly repair demand by monitoring build plans, daily JDA demand, and supervising Repair Tech productivity; ensure agility for unforeseen demands
Monitor repair progress hourly, troubleshoot delays, adjust labor and plans as necessary
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals
Ensure all Equipment Repair Orders are accurate, turned in promptly to Data Entry Clerk, and documents entered into Repair Tool the next business day
Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance and operational effectiveness
Lead Lean Daily Management and conduct daily huddles to report goals, actuals, answer questions, and communicate information
Supervise and support operational teams, ensuring health and safety of all
Handle hiring, coaching, performance appraisal, and disciplining of subordinate staff
Schedule daily work plans, coordinate shifts, manage attendance to meet productivity and quality goals
Manage cost center budgets, track parts and supplies spending, perform budget forecasting, reporting, and analysis
Lead, supervise, and support repair team leads, technicians, and data entry clerks to meet productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety standards
Track team skills (technical and administrative), reduce single points of failure, foster IDEAL values, teamwork, and continuous improvement
