Requirements

  • Experience in operations management, repair operations, or related field (inferred from role responsibilities and salary range indicating mid-level supervisory experience)

Responsibilities

  • Set goals and develop plans to meet or exceed monthly repair demand by monitoring build plans, daily JDA demand, and supervising Repair Tech productivity; ensure agility for unforeseen demands
  • Monitor repair progress hourly, troubleshoot delays, adjust labor and plans as necessary
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals
  • Ensure all Equipment Repair Orders are accurate, turned in promptly to Data Entry Clerk, and documents entered into Repair Tool the next business day
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on team performance and operational effectiveness
  • Lead Lean Daily Management and conduct daily huddles to report goals, actuals, answer questions, and communicate information
  • Supervise and support operational teams, ensuring health and safety of all
  • Handle hiring, coaching, performance appraisal, and disciplining of subordinate staff
  • Schedule daily work plans, coordinate shifts, manage attendance to meet productivity and quality goals
  • Manage cost center budgets, track parts and supplies spending, perform budget forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Lead, supervise, and support repair team leads, technicians, and data entry clerks to meet productivity, efficiency, quality, and safety standards
  • Track team skills (technical and administrative), reduce single points of failure, foster IDEAL values, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure training for all repair teammates on proper repair protocols, manufacturer guidelines, SOPs, diagnostics, repairs, and safety procedures; conduct training sessions
