Responsibilities

  • Initiate, direct, and participate in community outreach programs, establish community relationships, and champion company-sponsored programs, events, and sustainability efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing safety and asset protection controls, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing operational reviews
  • Provide supervision and development for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, manage customer service initiatives, resolve customer issues, and develop action plans for improvements
  • Assist store manager in driving financial performance by achieving sales/profit goals, reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, correcting financial deficiencies, and participating in budget forecasting
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting business plans, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring results, and promoting continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, support mission/values/ethics, implement action plans, utilize Open Door Policy, and provide guidance on business processes
  • Build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create a culture of belonging, work collaboratively, communicate effectively, attract/retain talent, and maintain standards of integrity and compliance
