Candidates should possess over five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least three years in a leadership role, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior experience within the chemical or battery industry, specifically in areas like slurry mixing, slot-die coating, cell assembly, or pack assembly, is highly desirable. Technical aptitude to understand product, material, and process characteristics, along with knowledge of 5S, SPC, SOP, and Work Instruction creation, are also required.
The Operations Manager will develop production plans for the Electrode, Cell Assembly, and Final Pack Assembly departments, support new product and equipment introductions by collaborating with process engineers, coordinate tasks for multiple front line supervisors, analyze production results and issues, and maintain a safe and clean work environment through training and direction. They will also work with cross-functional teams to address quality, yield, and downtime issues, solicit production feedback, conduct incident investigations, and effectively work with other teams to implement improvements and resolve problems.
