Requirements

BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Internship experience preferred
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Microsoft Access (a plus)
Willingness to learn MS Access, VBA programming, and database design concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential for client support via email and phone)
Strong customer service skills (essential for interacting with clients and service providers)
Self-motivation, organization, and the ability to complete multiple client objectives in a timely manner without sacrificing excellence or quality
Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, a positive and congenial approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
An aim to broaden one’s knowledge of the financial services industry and take the initiative to apply new concepts to daily work assignments
Willingness to adapt to changing client needs
Full Time employment, Monday – Friday 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m

Responsibilities

Resolve daily exceptions arising from automated trade file processes
Perform pricing functions for securities across portfolio positions
Assist with security master setups and asset data maintenance
Support with implementing new clients
Research and process corporate actions and dividend income for IMS clients
Collect and maintain security pricing details from vendors and brokers
Implement documentation of processes and procedures related to individual client needs
Connect with internal or client teams to resolve open issues and questions
Contact internal technology and vendor support to resolve production issues or system queries
Participate in the testing of new releases and system enhancements
Attend and participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions to identify process improvements
