Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Near visual acuity (corrected), color vision, mobility, bending, standing, stooping, and finger dexterity
  • Minimum education level of a high-school diploma
  • 0-4 years of experience in medical device (including hand instruments and video equipment) repair, sales, or services management
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Proficient user of MS Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets and reporting
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to use independent judgment and critical thinking effectively
  • Ability to explain and generate detailed guidelines and procedures
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of experience (general role requirement)
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • Ability to provide on-call services as required by the medical facility

Responsibilities

  • Conducts analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements in accordance with customer specifications
  • Troubleshoots problems and issues, determines technical solutions per product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives
  • Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications
  • Acts as local on-site representative to the customer's organization
  • Provides clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment
  • Anticipates related device needs of O.R. staff and surgeons during surgical procedures
  • Troubleshoots and maintains Stryker equipment and other related devices
  • Works with surgeons, O.R. personnel, central processing, biomedical, and all other related personnel
  • Maintains knowledge base of equipment and disposable products through Stryker education training programs
  • Provides physicians and OR personnel with information on new and current products
  • Accurately records and reports all surgical procedure information
  • Adheres to all Stryker and medical facility policies, standards, and procedures
  • Analyzes and resolves both routine and non-routine product issues expediently using independent judgment
