A Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or equivalent certifications are preferred. For Specialists in Sterile Processing Department, HSPA CRCST Certification is required within 6 months of start date with yearly renewal.
Operating Room experience with knowledge of anatomy, surgical procedures, and techniques is preferred, along with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in high-stress situations.
The position requires providing support on all shifts at assigned accounts, including on-call, overnight, weekends, and rotating shifts that may change without notice, with potential overnight travel to other accounts.
Candidates with prior Operating Room experience, knowledge of surgical procedures, troubleshooting skills in high-stress environments, flexibility for rotating shifts and on-call duties, and strong communication and organizational abilities stand out.
