Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations, and complete written documentation and records. Preferred qualifications include zero to one year of experience in silica, aggregate, or similar facilities, mechanical knowledge in plant maintenance and rolling stock, prior experience operating front end loader, scraper, excavator, and bull dozer, and some computer skills for load out functions.

Responsibilities

As an OnCore Operator, the individual will be responsible for learning how to monitor and control plant operating systems, making adjustments based on production objectives and QA lab results, monitoring production and quality, anticipating and solving problems, participating in projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs, participating in plant maintenance programs, communicating maintenance needs to the shift lead, developing preventative maintenance skills, completing pre-op inspections, complying with safety programs, learning cross-function operations, developing computer skills for load out operation and production reporting, and performing general labor such as plant clean-up and housekeeping.
