Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical discipline
  • 8+ years of industry experience in process/manufacturing/engineering with 2+ years in a battery related field
  • 3+ years of site deployment experience
  • Korean/English language proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage subcontractors effectively in dynamic site environments
  • Experience serving as a Program Manager with direct customer engagement and relationship management
  • Skilled in gaining buy-in across all organizational levels, even in high-stakes or sensitive situations
  • Deep understanding of phase gate methodology and its application in complex projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with sharp analytical thinking
  • Quick to adapt and thrive in fast-paced, start-up or high-growth settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be able for site deployment starting Q4 2025
  • Compliance with export control requirements, including availability of government authorization for access to restricted technology

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with joint development partners and all internal stakeholders
  • Support phase-gate reviews and ensure program milestones are achieved
  • Initiate and foster relationships with partners, contractors, and internally
  • Work onsite on cell manufacturing line in Daejeon, Korea
  • Manage everyday work at the site while collaborating closely with contractors to ensure program objectives are met
  • Supervise daily production activities to ensure alignment with project plans
  • Monitor subcontractors and crew performance on site and resolve production bottlenecks or delays
  • Record and maintain a change log with dates, reasons and responsible parties
  • Attend equipment preparation progress (SAT)
  • Provide daily or weekly technical reports summarizing site activities, changes or compliance issues
  • Observe worksite practices to ensure adherence to agreed upon processes and safety standards
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries and access to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure all necessary permits are coordinated and in place. Maintain organized record of permits and related documentation
