We are seeking passionate individuals to join our Merchant Strategy本部 and contribute to the rapid development of our cashless payment and financial life platform in Japan.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience planning and growing a business or service (including system development).
  • Skills:
    • Presentation creation skills using PowerPoint/Google Slides.
    • Simulation and graph creation skills using Excel / Google Sheets.
    • Requirement specification or requirement definition creation skills.
    • Smooth communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute mid-to-long-term growth strategies for existing O2O promotional services (coupons, stamps, flyers) and new services integrated with LINE/Yahoo!.
  • Lead the planning and promotion of new services for merchants across various industries (restaurants, beauty salons, retail).
  • Analyze click-through rates and user drop-off trends to propose UI/UX improvements in collaboration with the product development team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute paid and owned media promotion strategies, including mass advertising.
  • Gather merchant feedback and define requirements for features needed to increase sales.
  • Implement business risk measures and strategies, including legal and reputational risks.

  • Work Location: Work From Anywhere at Anytime (WFA) - Primarily remote work (at home or satellite office)
  • Working Hours: Super Flexible System (スーパーフレックス制) - Core hours: 9:00 AM to 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes plus break time)
  • Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays, New Year's holidays, and company-designated holidays.
  • Paid Time Off: Annual paid leave (14 days initially, prorated based on month of hire). Personal leave (5 days per year). PayPay’s unique paid leave system allows you to use it for your own illness/injury/medical care, or for caring for family members or pets.
