We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with deep experience in the payments industry, especially with Stripe. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling our payments platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build payment solutions that are reliable, secure, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable micro-services, APIs and micro-frontends that integrate with Stripe and other payment gateways.
  • Build secure, reliable, and compliant payment solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development and payments security.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the payments space and bring new ideas to the team.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain high system availability.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • Languages: NodeJS, TypeScript, NestJS, React, HTML, CSS
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Payment Platforms: Experience working with Stripe’s API and other payment processing platforms
  • Databases: Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL
  • Architecture: Ability to design systems that are secure, scalable, and resilient to failure
  • API: Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
