Requirements

  • 10 years of related experience is required; 5 years of equivalent industry related experience is preferred
  • High computer skills and literacy
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Computer, presentation and mentoring skills
  • General knowledge of manufacturing, materials, business, finance and program management; related contract manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Plexus Program Leadership team in the development and execution of full value stream, new product introduction and transition programs across all global geographic regions and Plexus Market Sectors
  • Support initial customer development and business development to secure the win
  • Lead the development of the overall program plan and execution of the plan, along with leading critical stakeholders internal to Plexus and external to Plexus, including Engineering Solutions, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Aftermarket Solutions and Customers
  • Lead the Regional Program Leadership Team and associated direct reports
  • Train, coach, and mentor Plexus employees on the tools and processes associated with launching successful products
  • Enable development of direct reports by collaboratively creating career development plans and driving accountability to execute on Plexus’ talent strategy, including evaluating potential, driving succession planning and ensuring team development and coaching
  • Align and build relationships across Plexus with Sr. Leadership from Engineering Solutions, Supply Chain, Aftermarket Solutions, Manufacturing and Corporate teams to leverage relationships for global customer solutions and ensure proper resources and tools
  • Support the execution of Programs through the application and measurement of Program specific KSF’s and KPI’s, including managing financial, unit cost, schedule, delivery and quality metrics
  • Effectively communicate and manage expectations within Plexus and with Customers to create successful engagements and product launches
  • Collaborate and communicate with Sr. Leadership from Plexus Market Sectors, Engineering Solutions and Manufacturing Operations to understand business needs, customer opportunities, and support business development solutions for new programs
  • Lead the funnel management process to identify all incoming opportunities in the region and determine appropriate support plans
  • Perform resource management for the regional Program Leadership team, including understanding resource loading, staffing requirements and recruitment of new Program Leadership resources
  • Manage Regional Service Center Costs and Product Commercialization P&L to ensure fiscal responsibility for the Program Leadership team
