Requirements

• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and network hardware.
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• Ability to create accurate network/system diagrams and documentation for design and planning infrastructure systems.
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Extensive experience with Hyper-V, and SQL Server 2017.
• Administration experience of Windows 2019 server including Active directory, Group policy and DNS.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including system software, applicants, software, hardware, and configurations.
• Performs disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Protects data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Monitors system and network performance using PRTG.
• Perform SQL queries to maintain optimal SQL performance.
• Designs, configures, and tests networks, systems, and operating system software.
