Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of data center infrastructure and network hardware, the ability to think through problems and visualize solutions, the ability to create accurate network/system diagrams and documentation, the ability to quickly learn new technology, and extensive experience with Hyper-V and SQL Server 2017, including administration of Windows 2019 server with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments, performing disaster recovery operations and data backups, protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating network security measures, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, monitoring system and network performance using PRTG, performing SQL queries to maintain optimal SQL performance, designing, configuring, and testing networks, systems, and operating system software.
