Candidates must possess at least 6 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of work experience. They are required to have an Active TS/SCI security clearance and willingness to obtain a CI Poly clearance, along with hands-on experience in network engineering, including configuration of Cisco or Juniper networking technologies, and a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VXLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
The Network Lab Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining network lab environments to support testing and development initiatives, troubleshooting and optimizing network configurations across switches, routers, firewalls, and other critical infrastructure, analyzing customer functional requirements to develop system requirements specifications and implement designed solutions, assisting in developing and executing test plans and performance validations, documenting configurations, troubleshooting steps, and lab procedures, and supporting automation efforts using scripting or tools like Ansible, Python, or other network automation frameworks. They will also ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices for lab environments and interact with government customers regarding network engineering and technical considerations.
