Requirements

Candidates should have 7+ years of professional experience in full stack software development, with prior experience as a staff engineer or tech lead. Expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js is required, along with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. Familiarity with relational databases, caching technologies, object stores, and distributed search systems is necessary. An active or previous TS/SCI clearance is a plus, and willingness to travel onsite quarterly is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer will lead the growth of the Perception Management platform, setting technical direction, shaping architecture and design, and integrating applications. They will partner with customers, mission owners, designers, and other engineers to understand user workflows and create solutions. Responsibilities include mentoring other engineers, defining the standard for enterprise-grade applications, and shaping the future platform strategy. They will also design, build, and ship defense tech applications and features using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, and Node.js, and define the strategy for continuous deployment of platform applications.
