Requirements

  • BA/BS required; MA/MS in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a competitive sales environment, with a proven track record of achieving results
  • Prior experience in sales training is preferred
  • Industry experience in medical devices, surgical, or pharmaceuticals is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation (platform), and facilitation skills
  • Strong instructional design knowledge, including familiarity with learning theories and models
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, engaging curriculum
  • Project management skills and capacity to adapt in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and execute sales training initiatives that enhance clinical and economic selling skills, driving measurable results
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales Operations, etc.) to optimize training content and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Facilitate national training programs, workshops, and live classrooms using diverse instructional techniques such as role-playing and modeling
  • Maintain and update sales learning databases, including Learning Management System (LMS) content and gamification programs
  • Manage and deliver onboarding programs for new hires and ongoing national training initiatives
  • Address ongoing training needs arising from marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales goals through cycle meetings and other forums
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including marketing teams, compliance, field sales leadership, and business partners, to maximize training impact and compliance
  • Assist in achieving broader company objectives and support continuous improvement of sales capabilities
