Requirements

Candidates must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid CDL Class A license with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience, and hold a doubles endorsement with a minimum of 6 months of driving experience with doubles endorsements preferred. They must also be comfortable working overnight, able to operate a manual transmission, and be able to read and communicate in the English language. Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Nashville Shuttle Driver will safely drive trucks to and from remote dispatch sites, perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections, and may be called upon to perform duties of Backhaul or Delivery Driver. They will also be responsible for navigating highway traffic signs and signals, responding to official inquiries, and entering information on reports and records, while maintaining a strong safety culture and building trusting relationships with customers.
