mxdwn is an online music and entertainment magazine dedicated to providing news, reviews, and features on modern entertainment. The Television department is seeking passionate writers with a strong interest in television and a distinct voice to deliver accurate, engaging, and relevant reporting on popular series such as House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, Abbott Elementary, Stranger Things, Rick and Morty, and The Bear. This internship offers an opportunity to gain industry experience, expand your writing exposure through the mxdwn fanbase, and learn to use WordPress.

Requirements

• Passion for journalism, writing, and television.
• Mastery of the English language, including grammar, flow, structure, and spelling.
• Ability to work professionally with all members of the TV department.
• Access to the internet and a personal computer.
• Prior experience not required; degrees in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cover a wide variety of television series.
• Publish content on five designated days during the week.
• Complete assignments in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with the Television News Editor, Television Department Head, and the Editor-In-Chief to enhance writing voice.
• Receive training on writing and publishing articles using mxdwn's content management system.
