Requirements
Candidates should possess a passion for journalism, writing, and television, demonstrate mastery of the English language including grammar, flow, structure, and spelling, be able to work professionally with all members of the TV department, and have access to the internet and their own personal computer. Prior experience is not required, though degrees in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or similar fields are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
Television news writers will be responsible for covering a wide variety of series, publishing on five designated days during the week, and completing articles in a timely fashion, communicating with the Television News Editor, Television Department Head, and the Editor-In-Chief to enhance their writing voice, and expanding their writing exposure through the mxdwn fanbase while gaining knowledge of WordPress.
