  • Adept at applying industry knowledge to a variety of business contexts
  • Proficient in conducting successful negotiations across internal teams, Dealers, and clients
  • Known for fostering constructive, collaborative discussions that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
  • Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with complex issues and persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions

Responsibilities

  • Architect strategic deals, lead negotiations, and deliver tailored solutions that drive real value for customers
  • Own machine sales, revenue growth, and strategic deal execution
  • Set annual Percentage of Industry Sales (PINS) targets and craft compelling value-based proposals
  • Drive team performance and foster a culture of growth and accountability
  • Oversee all personnel matters, including coaching, development, and performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Own the end-to-end deal strategy—pricing, approvals, and coordination across technology, services, and strategic accounts
  • Leverage deep customer insights to build proposals that align with their value drivers and operational goals
  • Drive machine sales, Customer Value Agreement (CVA) point-of-sale execution, and revenue growth
  • Spearhead commercial strategy for Caterpillar’s Surface and Underground Mining business across Canada
  • Build and nurture high-level relationships with dealers and decision-makers to maximize Caterpillar’s market share
  • Collaborate with Account Product Support Managers and Site Performance Managers to align strategies and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Ensure every deal delivers strong financial returns for Caterpillar, dealers, and customers
  • Develop and maintain robust commercial processes between Caterpillar, dealers, and key accounts
  • Influence commercial decisions to reduce liabilities and enhance profitability
  • Manage pricing, product support terms, and inventory allocation for large mining equipment
  • Provide strategic input to leadership on product performance, dealer benchmarks, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and mentor a team of Industry Representatives—driving performance and professional growth
