Requirements

Act as the single Caterpillar point of contact at the key mine site for Caterpillar, dealer, and customer
Improve performance of Caterpillar Technology Products at customer sites
Work in partnership with Dealer Site Manager and Caterpillar Site Performance Manager to support all Caterpillar business at the site
Develop, implement, and manage product support processes and equipment management processes at the mine site
Manage Caterpillar on-site validation activities and ongoing Autonomous Haulage Operations (AHS) operations
Accountable for sustainable or improved product performance via AHS system to meet or exceed mine plans short and long term
Ensure AHS implementation and operations lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Cost Per Ton (CPT) compared to manned operations
Provide indirect leadership for dealer personnel, sales, and tech reps; direct leadership for team of Technology SMEs (Applications Specialist, Project Engineer, Command Builder, Command Shift Lead, Command Pit Operator, Command Technician, Command Controller)
Strong in managing matrix organizations and influencing others
Partner with customer operations and project managers, Dealer Site Manager, and Caterpillar Site Performance Managers
Co-develop, implement, and manage operational processes at the site with dealer and customer
Establish and maintain high-level relationships with business decision-makers and subject matter experts
Represent Caterpillar and execute assigned actions
Actively participate as member of Mine Operations team to recommend and implement enhancements for cost reduction, capacity increase, or quality improvement

Responsibilities

Support all Caterpillar business at the site in partnership with Dealer Site Manager and Caterpillar Site Performance Manager
Develop, implement, and manage product support and equipment management processes
Manage on-site validation activities and ongoing AHS operations
Achieve or exceed objectives of customer and Caterpillar business plans/contractual agreements via AHS implementation and management
Drive enhanced business performance through cost reduction, capacity increase, or quality improvement
Ensure AHS lowers TCO and CPT for customers
Lead directly and indirectly teams involved in technology and operations
Coordinate resources across Caterpillar, dealer, and customer to improve productive performance of Cat mining equipment
Co-develop and manage operational processes with dealer and customer
Build and maintain high-level relationships
Represent Caterpillar and drive assigned actions
