[Remote] Metabolomics/Lipidomics Field Application Support at Thermo Fisher Scientific

The ideal candidate needs a master’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience, plus 3+ years of hands-on LC-MS experience and expertise in qualitative and quantitative metabolomics/lipidomics LC-MS workflows.

The role requires the ability to travel up to 75%, primarily to customer sites within North America.

Responsibilities include providing pre- and post-sales technical support, customer training and on-site visits, presenting technical seminars, building customer relationships, and developing content like application reports and eLearning materials.

The position involves working in a multi-disciplinary matrix team with sales representatives, marketing, service professionals, product development scientists, and engineers, in settings including laboratory, office, and customer sites with up to 75% travel.

Strong candidates have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently with a strong work ethic, hands-on LC-MS experience in metabolomics/lipidomics, and comfort with extensive customer contact and up to 75% travel.
