Position Overview

This field position offers a unique opportunity to join Humana's team and directly impact the lives of Medicare beneficiaries. As a Medicare Sales Field Agent, you'll build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals while working independently. You’ll interact with Humana’s customers, external business partners, and the community through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Responsibilities include grass roots marketing, field sales community events, and visiting prospects in their homes. You will also sell individual health plan products and educate beneficiaries on Humana’s services, including Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more. Humana welcomes candidates with multilingual skill sets to serve our diverse consumer base.

Requirements

  • Active Health Insurance License: Required to obtain prior to the start date.
  • Technology Skills: High-level use of laptops and mobile phone applications, understanding of CRM tools or other sales/marketing resources.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Experience with Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License: Clear and valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits.
  • Internet Connectivity: Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps recommended (cable, DSL, or wireless). Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections may be considered with leadership approval.
  • Work Environment: Must reside within the assigned territory/County and work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
