Responsibilities

  • Media Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists in defense, technology, and national security, ensuring they are well-briefed on Strider’s mission and updates
  • Story Pitching: Develop compelling narratives and secure positive coverage by pitching stories to targeted outlets
  • Media Bookings & Preparation: Arrange podcast and interview opportunities for executives and subject matter experts; prepare briefing materials, talking points, and backgrounders
  • Press Materials: Write clear, accurate, and engaging press releases to announce company developments, research reports, or major milestones
  • Media Monitoring: Track coverage of Strider and relevant industry news, identifying opportunities and risks
  • Daily News Clips: Curate and distribute daily news summaries for internal stakeholders
  • Website Newsroom: Manage and update the media section of Strider’s website with press releases, coverage, and media assets
  • Event Support: Draft and refine talking points for leadership ahead of events and media appearances
