[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Interview Content) (India) at Karat

The position is only available to candidates residing in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, or Pune, India, with hiring out of Bangalore. The team operates 100% remotely, but working hours are predominantly IST with required internal meetings aligning with U.S. timezones.

Candidates need 4+ years of post-academic experience as a software engineer with demonstrated ability to program in a common programming language, professional experience using Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or another agentic AI solution, experience working remotely with global teams, fluent English communication skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience operating independently with high-output and strict deadlines.

The Content team creates high-quality technical interview questions used to assess engineering talent worldwide, producing new content weekly across various technical domains, and handles writing, testing, publishing, and monitoring of all Karat content.

Preferred experience includes conducting technical interviews, project/product/program management, and working in a high-growth, quick-change startup environment.

Strong candidates will have the required 4+ years of software engineering experience, AI tool proficiency like GitHub Copilot, remote global team experience, and the ability to work independently under deadlines, with preferred experience in technical interviews or startups enhancing fit.
